A little girl named Franny takes a series of magical adventures when she tries on shoes in her grandfather's repair shop.
Where will my feet take me today?? There's the time she puts on the fisherman's boots and lands on a fishing trawler in the middle of the Atlantic. Or the time she slips on a pair of hiking boots and is off on an African adventure.

Wherever she goes, Franny meets fascinating characters with unusual problems; like the cowboy who's afraid of horses or the fearsome Yeti who really just needs someone to talk to. Franny always tries to help them with their predicament. She makes a friend of the audience, sharing her feelings, fears and advice and teaching them along the way about empathy, co-operation and appreciating the diversity in others. The adventures that Franny experiences go well beyond the day to day activities of school and home-life.
