As the Principal of Roscoe High School, I am a proud supporter of all official Cougar clubs, teams and societies but one of my favorites is definitely Cougar Radio, the official broadcast voice of Roscoe High. Although I currently serve as Cougar Radio’s faculty advisor, I began working with the station back in my days as a student at Roscoe High. That’s right, I was a Cougar Radio DJ just like many of you! The skills I learned working on the air and behind the scenes at the station have proven invaluable in all aspects of my life. I learned the value of patience, persistence, teamwork and fair play. - All skills important for each and every Cougar!

Some of you may no doubt be aware of another rogue student radio station that claims to be the true voice of the students. Make no mistake, there is nothing true about this renegade operation. By operating outside the jurisdiction of Roscoe High School, there is no way to regulate or verify the quality or accuracy of their content. Said radical radio station obviously has no respect for the rules and regulations that govern resposible broadcasting. For this reason, I urge you all to tune your radios away from any imitators, and tune them into Cougar Radio, the official voice of Roscoe High School. Your voice, of course!
