Long ago, Jerry Russo gave up his wizard powers to marry his mere mortal wife, Theresa, but now their three kids learned to use their mystical powers. Confident Alex doesn't always following the rules; overachiever Justin is by the book with his magic as he tries to fit in at high school; and mischievous Max is caught in the middle. As the three teens learn the good and the bad of their bewitching skills, there are many wizardly misadventures in the Russo household, from learning to "drive" a magic carpet to making a Pocket Elf appear to help with a Spanish test or experiencing the literal translation of the magic command "make me a sandwich," but even when their wizard works go wrong, the Russos know they can always rely on each other.
